Legalization Specialist/ Administrative Assistant: NY, NY

Description

We are a nationwide corporate service/registered agent provider seeking an entry level professional with excellent customer service skills, and strong computer and research skills including proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook software. BA degree with a minimum of 1-2 year experience also required. The ideal candidate should be well organized and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multi-task effectively, work to high standards of quality, and be a team player.

The Legalization & Authentication Specialist/Administrative Assistant will fulfill an integral part in the day-to-day operations of our NYC office. This position will entail the following:

  • Visiting various State Departments and Consulates to submit Legalization & Authentication order requests.
  • Understanding the processing policies and procedures for each State Department and Consulate
  • Responding to client email and mail inquiries regarding Legalization and Authentication services.
  • Assisting with the day to day administrative tasks such as the corporate team mail distribution, Fed Ex preparation, answering client calls, etc.
  • Assisting the corporate team with the fulfillment of New York State Publications and other tasks as requested
  • Any additional duties as required or assigned.
  • Please note that this position will entail up to 90% travel via NYC train and bus services

Associate Developer

This position requires an individual who is able to work as part of a team to design and develop internal and external (client-facing) applications. You will be working with intelligent, experienced developers on a variety of projects using the .NET framework and related technologies. Experience with .NET isn't mandatory as long as you have experience or training with a comparable platform, are a quick learner, and can make the switch. You will need to be good at writing, debugging, and testing code to ensure good performance and compliance with team standards. Manager of Application Development

We are adding a Manager of Application Development at our office in Brooklyn Center, MN. As the development manager, you will lead our teams of developers and testing analysts to ensure delivery of high-quality software. We are an Agile development shop using the Scrum framework. You will report to the SVP of Software R&D and work regularly with executives, product owners, business stakeholders, and our IS department. We are looking for that rare breed of highly technical and highly personable manager. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills are required. You must be comfortable handling communication during a crisis as well as coaching one-on-one. You must be able to write SQL, debug C#, navigate HR policies, write procedure documentation, hire, fire, and everything in between.
 
Requirements

The duties of a Testing Analyst are to:

  • Review user stories, backlog items, and provide usability input
  • Prepare test scripts and testing plans
  • Develop automated UI tests using a tool such as Microsoft Coded UI, Developer Express Test Cafe, or Selenium
  • Testing to ensure software and processes meet documented expectations within documented constraints using manual and automated testing practices
  • Coordinate acceptance testing schedules with business stakeholders and internal users acting as additional testers
  • Controlling test environment access (logins, schedules) to additional internal user/testers
  • Review, vet, and confirm bug reports by internal user/testers and report them to the developers via MS Team Foundation Server
  • Liaising between developers and internal user/testers to ensure reported issues are properly understood
  • Coordinating testing progress and status with stakeholders
  • Evaluating and recommending testing methodology and process improvements

Outside Sales Account Executive - Chicago, IL & Los Angeles, CA (2 openings)

National Corporate Research, Ltd’s AE will be involved in direct sales efforts for all NCR products and services reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

 

Outside Sales/AE Goals and Expectations:

  • Increase assigned existing client revenue within territory by penetrating new departments and up-selling additional services to client base.
  • Hunt for new client revenue through cold calling
  • Secure 8 plus meaningful in person meetings a week

Administrative Assistant/Back-Up Receptionist (NY):

 

National Corporate Research, Ltd. is a professional registered agent company that has been providing nationwide statutory representation, corporate and secured transaction services since 1980. With full service offices in key cities from coast to coast and experienced staff dedicated to providing responsive, accurate, cost-effective service, NCR has the resources and expertise to handle a firm’s largest multi-state transactions and research projects. 

  • Provide full backup coverage for the reception areas
  • Managing a multi-line phone system, transferring and screening calls appropriately
  • Maintain appropriate files and documentation within identified formats or specific requirements
  • Order inventory of office supplies
  • Manage calendars including scheduling appointments, coordinating meeting logistics, and arranging travel
  • Maintaining the office space, general upkeep of meeting rooms, kitchen area, and printing room (including restocking supplies and food, general appliance maintenance, etc.)
  • Maintaining and updating company’s data management system.

  • Work under general supervision of senior staff member; support multiple individuals

Qualifications
