Having an ILL account enables you to take advantage of the LC’s generous 60-day loan policy for any book you might need. NCR’s staff
goes to the LC on a daily basis and can save you time and money by quickly processing your loans and returns. Place your order before
2 PM EST and, in most cases, your patron will have the books the same or next day via local messenger or overnight courier. Don’t worry
about monitoring due dates - the LC and NCR will send e-mail reminders when deadlines are approaching. LC books returned to our D.C.
office prior to the due date will be returned at no charge. Our "behind the stacks" contacts and rapport with the LC loan office
translates into efficient and reliable service for you.

NCR has loan accounts at many libraries in the metro D.C. area and nationwide, including the National Library of Medicine. If the books
or articles you need are not available at the LC, we’ll use our contacts and loan accounts to borrow them elsewhere. Our researchers
